New Features
Import Special Teams Diagrams from PFF: We are excited to announce the new feature that allows users to import special teams diagrams directly from PFF. Although PFF does not currently provide a diagram for Kickoff, we can now extract and utilize existing diagrams that correspond with PFF's data, enabling us to create precise visual representations for your special teams strategies.
Rename Files & Connect to Corresponding Drawing
Users can now easily rename files within their library and connect the new file name to the corresponding drawing in the template by using the Advanced Rename feature. Previously, users had to manually edit the file name, select the play in the template, and click update to synchronize the changes. This new streamlined process simplifies file management and saves time.
How to Rename the File
- In the Master Library, select the Advanced Tab.
- Click Add Document to add the drawings from the document to the Advanced Menu
- Right Click the file you want to rename.
- Ensure "Update Document" is selected.
- Click the Check Box
- This now renames the file within the document and links it to the updated file name/location.
- Reload Folder to view the renamed file in it's original location.
Submit Support Ticket directly in Pro Quick Draw
Users can now easily submit a support ticket by navigating to the Home Tab, selecting Settings, and choosing the Submit Ticket option to contact our support team. Additionally, if an error occurs, a pop-up window will automatically appear, offering a direct link for submitting a support ticket.
You can still submit a support ticket through our Help Center; however, this new feature enables you to do so directly within the application, eliminating the need to open your browser.
Play Drawing & Shape Libraries
Introduced separate Offensive and Defensive Views to enhance user experience. This feature allows you to focus on the side of the ball you prefer without the need to flip shapes vertically for each user, streamlining your workflow.
Templates
- The Sample Library has been rebranded as the Master Library for all existing users, providing a more accurate representation of its comprehensive collection of resources.
- Removed outdated templates that were underutilized to improve the overall user interface.
- Special Teams Users can now easily incorporate a portrait drawing into a landscape presentation, enhancing flexibility in visual representation.
- Added Offensive & Defensive Personnel Charts
- Added a Wristband Template (3" x 5")
- Revamped the Pass Install Template for enhanced usability and effectiveness.
Field Backgrounds
- Added new folders to categorize Field Backgrounds for High School and College Drawings, enhancing organization and accessibility.
- A new section has been added for scout cards, allowing users to select a custom field background image that is optimized for use with Catapult, Hudl, and QwikCut systems.
- Added green-colored fields to enhance customization possibilities.
- Added new backgrounds specifically designed for U Sports Teams
- Resized backgrounds to improve clarity and reduce pixilation.
Important: To avoid losing your work, please back up any edited PQD Templates, Stencils, or Shape Library items by saving them to your desktop. After completing the new installation, you can easily reimport these backups into your PQD4 Templates folder to ensure all your customizations are preserved.
All-New Licensing Dashboard
To enhance our user experience, we have launched a new licensing platform on Jan 1, 2025. The Licensing Platform is the area to manage your licenses, view renewal dates, and download Pro Quick Draw. Our upgraded site includes the following enhancements:
- Quicker loading times
- Personal login options instead of team logins
- Activation through license keys
- More efficient mass downloading for large staffs

Bug Fixes
- Resolved an issue that caused freeform lines to be drawn at a slight angle when inserted into PowerPoint templates.
- Updated the code involving Adding a Visio Play with 1D Shapes to ensure that the line style is properly maintained after the conversion to 2D. When adding a Visio play that includes 1D shapes, it is necessary to convert these shapes to 2D. This conversion process may result in changes to the line style.
- Fixed an issue when importing PFF diagrams where the player line size may not align with the user-defined settings.
- Hudl Integration: Fixed intermittent error in Hudl integration that occurs with Hudl users who are associated with a large number of Teams.
- Add check for PowerPoint Shape Locked property.
- Intermittent errors occur refreshing Shape Library After Adding a new shape to the library
