      How to Transfer Your License to a Different Computer

      To move your license over to a new machine, you need to login to your account in our Licensing Dashboard, download Pro Quick Draw and Generate a new License Key

      Reasons You Need to Transfer Your Machine

      • You have acquired a new computer.

      • Your current computer has undergone a re-imaging process.

      If you are part of an NFL, FBS, or CFL team and are responsible for managing multiple licenses, please refer to these instructions for effective license management.

      We have upgraded our Licensing Platform!

      Are you using https://portal.pqdcloud.com to license your machines? This site is our old licensing platform. You can still use this site to manage your licenses but we will be phasing this out in 2026. If you'd like to migrate to our new licensing platform now, please email us.

      Here are instructions on how to transfer your license to a new machine using the Legacy Portal.

      Transfer your License to a New Machine 

      1. Download Pro Quick Draw on your New Machine

      • Login to the Pro Quick Draw Licensing Dashboard.
      • Use your credentials. Don't know your credentials? Email us for assistance.
      • Click on the Download tab located in the left sidebar menu. This will take you to the product downloads that are available to you.
      • Click Download in the Available Downloads area

      IMPORTANT: If you have edited the PQD Templates, Stencils or Shape Library, please save them on your desktop as a backup. Once the new install has finished, you can re-import these templates into your PQD4 Templates folder to prevent loss.

      2. Install Pro Quick Draw on Your Machine

      Open the downloads section in your computer's file explorer and run the installer.

      3. Generate a New License Key

      Return back to the Licensing Dashboard and navigate to My License on the left-side menu.

      Find the License you wish to generate a new key for. Select Generate New Key Icon

      Key Options Action Butters - Licensed Users

      Select Copy New License Key icon

      Copy Key to Clipboard

      4. License Your Machine

      Return back to PowerPoint or Visio. On the home tab. find the Licensing Button (wrench icon)

           

      Enter your email address associated with your Pro Quick Draw account and click Validate


      Under the Key Section, paste your Key 



      The following instructions are for users on our legacy licensing platform https://portal.pqdcloud.com:

      Transfer your License to a New Machine in Our Legacy Portal 

      If you're still using our former platform, https://portal.pqdcloud.com to manage your licenses, you will follow these instructions instead:

      registered machines

      • Delete the machine you no longer wish to keep active
      • Open Visio or PowerPoint and toggle on Pro Quick Draw
      • Select the Licensing Button on the home toolbar
      • Enter your Credentials yo re-license your machine
