How to Create a Custom Template with Pro Quick Draw 365 (for Mac)

Learn how to create a simple 2UP template which will give you a glimpse into the endless possibilities and versatility of the Template Editor

  1. Click the Library button


  2. Click Template Editor


  3. Select the Library where you want to save the new template and click the New button


  4. Name your template (try to keep it similar with your naming convention) and click the Create button


  5. Click the Open Microsoft PowerPoint button


  6. Use the straight line shape under Shapes to set your template borders


  7. Setup outside borders around the entire slide and also use the lines to begin setting the structure of our 2UP - DT template (you can change the line color and weight to your desired settings)


  8. Using the box shape, color and text box, create a slide header and add your team name


  9. On the PQD sidebar, notice for Group No it starts at 1, this is a DT template for drawing and title, select the Drawing and Title checkboxes and click the Add button


  10. You will notice it places a drawing and title grouping within your main slide drawing area


  11. You will want to click in the white space of the slide to deselect your title and drawing, move the title into the title area and resize the box to fill the space - then you will repeat for the drawing box


  12. You will click the Add button on the PQD sidebar again and repeat those steps


  13. Move and resize the second title and drawing boxes to get the desired outcome


  14. Close the Template Editor window

  15. Click on Select Template on the PQD ribbon bar menu

  16. Find and select your new template and click the Update button

  17. Add 2 drawing to ensure you get the desired outcome
